Graduation Season

Hi folks!
With the summer hols coming to an end and each day's paper announcing the publishing of results of this exam and that exam ,I have composed a sonnet of good wishes for my own graduating son.

My son,as you graduate from college
My myriad wishes conjure up a collage.
May you have your goals set
And may you hit bull's-eye on your target.
May diligence and perseverance
Around you form a fence.
May honesty and integrity
Help you challenge any adversity.
May you pursue your ambition
With much faith and gumption.
May opportunity and success
Be heaped on you in excess.
May satisfaction and happiness
Encircle you in peace and calmness.
